Bonnie Baker

Bonnie graduated with a B.S. in English/Creative Writing at The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas then moving to Nashville, Tennessee in 1992 to learn the craft of songwriting. Influenced by such greats as Kris Kristofferson, Stevie Nicks, Townes Van Zant and Elton John, she made the transition into the music industry.

Baker signed her first publishing deal in 1997 with her first cuts following soon after in 1999. Her writing credits include the Chad Brock hit, “Ordinary Life” which went to #1 on the charts as well as the SHeDAISY hit “This Woman Needs” as well as such hits as "My Sister" by Reba McEntire. “My Sister” was used by the NY Breast Cancer Awareness Group in a statewide campaign. Bonnie has worked closely with Hunter Hayes and Katrina Elam and will continue and have many things happening for 2013
